The BAHA Education and Training Programme

Introduction

The BAHA Education Programme has been devised to provide an entry route to Associate membership status of BAHA.

The Education and Training Programme (ETP) is used by many of the major players in the hospitality sector as a fundamental part of career development programmes for financial personnel. The course is also popular with controllers working overseas for international operations.

The course materials have been written by experienced educators specifically to meet the needs of finance professionals in the hospitality industry. Successful students may claim some exemptions from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) examinations.

Once enrolled on the programme, students are provided with a range of resources which help  to progress their learning. The examples and work-based projects are set in the context of the hotel and related industries and a key feature of the course is that students are encouraged to use the programme to help solve practical problems in the workplace. This means that everyone gets to benefit - both the student and the sponsoring business.
